Love this!
It's not as complex as cognac, but caramel, smooth and sweet in just the right combinations. I have been enjoying a tiny nip with evening coffee and sometimes on the weekend, adopting my friend's rather decadent habit of accompanying a morning coffee :)
Remy out of stock
Had this instead of Remy to review. My husband likes this and for the price I don’t mind him hitting the bottle occasionally. I use it for truffles which turn out great
Ocado Reviewer \- Free Sample (substitute)
for St Remy XO as it was out of stock. Tried in a variety of ways: coffee cream refrigerator cake (a favourite 'easy' pudding!) Straight Brandy; Brandy Alexander, Irish coffee royale, Spanish Carajillo. Not all at the same time - cheers! hic! hic! All very acceptable. Likely to purchase in the future.
Decent for the price
I was sent this in place of a Remy XO that was due to be provided free for review. Sadly the original was out of stock, but this is not a bad everyday brandy. Went very well with my evening coffee.
good in a mixed drink
I was sent this as a substitute for a brandy that I was sent to review. My husband drank it in a mixed drink and enjoyed it.
Bargain
I was sent this as a substitute for another brandy that I was asked to review but was out of stock. This is quite good for an affordable brandy. Great for cooking too.
