Open skies, rugged mountains and the silvery sound of birdsong. This is the Cederberg, a vast wilderness to the north of Cape Town and the only place on earth where rooibos grows.
At Tick Tock, we think of roobois as a wonder plant; gentle, naturally caffeine free and brimming with goodness. It is also the magic ingredient that gives Organic Tick Tock its deep colour, smooth taste and subtle sweetness.
Delicious with or without milk, Tick Tock can be enjoyed at any time - morning, noon and night.
"While I started drinking this alternately with proper tea as a way of reducing my caffeine intake in the afternoons, I find it’s now my first choice when I want a hot drink. It has a honeyed, slightly malty richness that I have grown to love, for all that I take black tea without sugar. I like it brewed strong and just as it is, though of course you could add milk or lemon. And I have on occasion used it to steep the dried fruits for my Bara Brith recipe [clickable link?] and have been very happy with the outcome." Nigella Lawson

my go to rooibos
My go to - and even better when its on offer.
the best
The best tasting roobios by far
Lovely alternative to black tea
Having had to give up drinking black tea for three months some years ago, I started drinking Rooibos instead. When I was allowed to go back to my usual black tea found I couldn't stand the taste of it anymore, so stuck with Rooibos. This is definitely my go to for Red Bush tea now and drink it every day.
Great Rooibos
Love this as an after dinner tea
not for me!
I'm looking for an alternative to black or green tea, I didn't expect it to smell of fish or taste of smoked fish so a no from me, coincidentally I got a migraine within an hour so not happy, on with my search
A lovely organic tea
This tea is really flavoursome and has the added benefit of being organic and biodegradable. I am shocked at how many teabags out there are still using plastic in their bags
