a classic for a reason
Not the greatest fino in the world but always dependable and one of the best value wines you can buy. I suspect the negative reviews are from those who only know cream sherry. If you want a creamy sweet drink, avoid this. If you like dry white wine or sake, give this a whirl. Works as an aperitif or with many foods.
lovely dry taste
Tio Pepe is my favourite dry sherry. lovely distinctive flavour. A lovely aperitif.
its a fino not a cream sherry
Perfectly palatable as an aperitif when chilled. I think those reviewers who thought it was off were probably expecting a cream sherry.
Not for me
Should it taste like paraffin?
Just the best.
Really good aperitif. The best dry sherry on the market. I like it poured over an ice cube.
Great dry sherry
We love it chilled from the fridge with a few nuts and olives. I have never had a duff bottle and we buy one a fortnight.
