Product information

This traditional jelly is made from the wild fruit of the blackberry, producing an intense flavour. Blackberries are brought to the boil and simmered for 10 minutes. The juice and fruit is then pumped into our fruit press where it is squeezed to extract the maximum amount of juice from the fruit.

Love this, cant find anywhere else. glad you sell it. Brilliant as a jam or for making jam tarts.

Unpleasant texture

The taste is not too bad, even though a bit on the bland size, however, the texture is unpleasant. It's almost impossible to spread evenly. Will not buy it again.

Delighted to have found this! I dont like picking blackberries wild so love that you can now get these fresh when in season and like this jelly at other times - beautiful addition to venison stew instead of redcurrant jelly and wonderful with fried Brie or Camembert instead of cranberry sauce. Not to mention great on toast or buns or cake or crumpets. Dont buy any - leave it all for me!

Good fruit content and flavour

I use this to add flavour to apple and blackberry crumble. Has best proportion of actual blackberries per 100 grams..

Strange texture, not very nice to taste

Usually get own brand but always jelly not jam so thought would try this. Texture is strange not jam or jelly and the only discernable taste is an overwhelming sweetness, none of the berries taste was expecting. Can't recommend this product and would not purchase again.
