goes off very quickly
presumably because of the low sugar content this marmalade goes off extremely quickly, covered in mould within a week or two of opening. The taste is nice enough but lacks the depth of better marmalades.
lovely not too sweet
Really like this and it's not too sweet but lovely and tangy, yes a bit less set than others but I find if you shake the jar then it's not too runny and I love it
A winner!
Tried this for the first time......as was attracted by the reduced sugar content. Definitely a winner in my book. It has a good orange flavour and the perfect mix of flavour versus sweetness proving that manufacturers do not need to add all that sugar. The rind is just the right size too. A regular purchase now as very enjoyable.
Over sweet and runny
Not sure how this so called `reduced' sugar marmalade can be so very sweet? It is so thin that it runs off your toast too. Not my cup of tea at all.
Tastes just as sweet
This contains substantially less sugar than most marmalades but tastes quite sweet anyway, without any added sweetener, which shows that most marmalades have more sugar than needed. I'm no big marmalade user, but enjoy it sometimes. I bought the previous jar almost exactly two years ago and finished it a few days ago. I kept in in the fridge all the time and it tasted just as fine at the end, which shows that less sugar doesn't have to mean shorter life span.
Not a patch on St Dalfour
Not much taste and very runny.
