Twinings Assam Tea 80 per pack
Product information
A bold, satisfying, proper cup of tea with a full-bodied, lasting flavour.
Where does it come from?
There are only two places in the world where tea plants are native.Assam in north-east India is one of them. We've been sourcing tea from gardens on the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River since 1838. That's how we know our Assam contains only the best.
What makes this tea different?
Our Assam leaves aren't picked until June because that's when they start making the best-tasting tea. Off-peak is just not the same.

Quality & Flavour Reduced
Have been buying these teabags for probably 20 years now. Always been reliable until quite recently. Can no longer get a decent flavour cup of tea from them so switching to an alternative!
The only Tea for me
A good strong brew!
Ocado why have you stopped stocking M&S Assam Tea?
I will not be forced to buy Twinings and Taylors is ridiculously expensive. Why do you keep retiring popular M&S staples?
What has happened
My husband likes a good strong cuppa and I have purchased these teabags for years. Unfortunately like a lot of products these days quantity is being reduced, it appears that the amount of tea in the bags has been reduced resulting in a weaker cup of tea. Will continue to buy because to date have been unable to find a better alternative, will just have to let the bag brew for longer
Recommend
Perfect cup of tea!
Not so malty
Decent strength, but not as malty as usual. Did not really taste like premium tea and was not as nice as the M&S stuff, which I'll be buying instead going forwards. 3 stars as it was on offer, so about average for the money. Not recommended at full price on this showing.
