Preparation and Usage
Swede is traditionally served peeled, boiled and mashed along with carrots or potatoes. But a different, delicious way of eating swede is as chips and serving as a snack, or with roasted vegetables or meat.
Preparation: Peel swede and cut into chips. Place into a shallow roasting tin along with a sprig of rosemary, drizzle of olive oil, a couple of garlic cloves and 50g of grated parmesan. Toss well so the swede is evenly coated. Roast for 40 - 45 mins at 200C/Gas Mark 7, turning the chips halfway. Season to taste.

Seems fine
I find swede a chore to prepare but I do like it mashed with butter and pepper, sweet and comforting.
Looked Nothing like the photograph on the app.
Old knarled and over ripe. Very disappointed!
Delivered black and mouldy.
This is the 3rd time I've ordered a swede from Ocado now that's been black and off. Those robots don't seem to be any good at telling when an item is off, and if its humans sorting it why send out obviously bad produce? Getting fed up of supermarkets offloading off produce on its customers. This bad swede now has to sit in my bin in this heat till its emptied in 5 days. It's disgusting.
Plastic causes mould
The plastic covering does not work. Not only isit causing harm to our environment but it's creating mould / decay on the suface of the swede. Wasn't so bad I'd ask for a refund but won't buy again.
mouldy
Brought two of these now on separate deliveries and both been mouldy and black
Arrived mouldy
Unfortunately mouldy spots on top and bottom where it has been cut. Had to bin it.
