Not for me...
Bought this by mistake, still trying to talk myself into eating it! Like eating Grit, could be beneficial if I was a Chicken...
more protein but had to get use to the texture
I hated these at first but due ti the crunchy texture of the extra protein stands. Now I just let them sit for a minute or two to soak up the milk and then they are pretty soft. I tend to have theses with a chopped banana and a bit of honey and keeps me full from 7:30 till 12:30.
Taste nice, but
There are tiny little gritty bits in the cereal which actually hurt my teeth a bit when biting down. I dont get that at all with regular weetabix.
Good breakfast
Would recommend to anyone looking for a little more protein/a more filling breakfast with little effort. They smell a tiny bit funny when you first open the box and I think they are a bit more crumbly than regular weetabix, but still not a problem to get out of the pack since you can just peel down the paper sleeve, and they've got the lovely malty weetabix taste just like the regular ones. Really nice with a bit of cinnamon and banana.
delivers on protein
Its more crumbly that normal wetabix but it has more protein which is what Im after. I add almond mild and whey protein powder to get this up to 15gs of protein. Really love they have brought this version of wetabix out. Love it.
Unconvinced
I love regular weetabix so thought that I'd give this a go. It wasn't anywhere near as good. It is less healthy (higher sugar), the amount of protein in it is negligible (the amount shown in the nutritional information includes the amount - predominantly - from the milk served with it), the bricks are much more crumbly than the regular weetabix so were half powder when I put them in the bowl, and the taste and overall experience is somehow more "watery" than regular weetabix - not as strong a taste, and doesn't seem to turn into that wonderful weetabix thick concrete that I love, its just a bit wishy washy. I wouldn't buy again.
