Apricot Shortbread
Ingredients
70g Whitworths Chopped Apricots
125g unsalted butter, softened
55g caster sugar
180g plain flour
Ready... Steady... Bake
Preheat your oven to 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4 then lightly grease a baking tray.
Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth then add the flour and chopped apricots to form a dough.
Rol out on a lightly floured surface, approximately 1cm thick then cut into 12 cookies with your favourite cutter.
Place onto the baking tray then chill for 20 minutes.
Bake in the centre of your oven for 16-18 minutes until a pale golden colour.
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack then eat and enjoy!
Why not try dipping the base into melted white chocolate then enjoy when the chocolate has set!

too much flour
These chopped apricots were very unpleasant to eat as they were thickly coated with rice flour. There was no apricot taste. Very disappointing.

Good quality
Always buy these when on offer. Always good quality and taste. Yes I agree sometimes the bags are lighter than advertised, but then all the greedy companies are guilty of doing this

love them so much
If they got good quality control and every patch has the same quality, I declare here that this is by far my favourite dried apricots. Soft and juicy and most importantly not too sweet nor sour!

Only 77g!
Advertised as a net weight of 140g, but even with the bag, it only weighed in at 77g. Won't buy Whitworths again
