Consistently bruised fruit!
I regularly bought kilos of these apples every week, which tasted delicious and of superb quality. NOT SO NOW! What has happened? Come on Ocado, read the reviews and support your customers' opinions, please! It's such a waste
Very bruised fruit and not good taste.
I was excited to get these organic apples but only until they arrived. All of them were very, very bruised (I wish I could add a picture). But I thought - okay that can happen-, so I gave it a go and picked up my courage and tasted one and I must say that it tasted very, very dry, not juicy at all. The taste was like when you have totally overriped apple fallen from tree and before eating you just randomly shake it in the box to bruise it. My husband asked me where I got those apples from, that they are very bad (and he normally can take a lot). I said to him not to worry, that my adventure with buying different kind of apples than usual ones, has surely ended here. I cannot recommend at all. Total waste of money.
All arrived rotting and bruised
All of them were bruised and rotting on day of arrival! Surprised they were packed.
Bruised fruits, Sticky substance
I used to buy these regularly as they were extremely good quality Apples. From past few orders I received almost all Apples bruised and few spoilt from inside. Don't know suddenly what has made the quality extremely worse. Recently the Apples have been all yellow color as well looking underripe but bruised at few spots, not 1 or 2 but almost 90% of the lot.
Too Wonky!
These apples were lovely a few weeks ago. They are now calling them wonky!? I prefer to buy organic and I don't mind having different varieties and sizes...but I dont expect every apple to be bruised, soft and virtually tasteless. I'll try them again in a few weeks.
sticky stuff on the surface
I dont know if the sticky substance is an oil that sometimes is used by organic producers to keep plague at bay or, if this is acctually wax, either way, not happy. Has happened twice now.
