Our wonky apples vary in size each week, sometimes large, sometimes small, we always guarantee a minimum weight of 1kg. 

Varieties will change regularly and may be mixed in a 1kg pack. 

By purchasing our wonky produce, you contribute to reducing food waste, a significant issue in today's society.

We work closely with our organic growers to rescue perfectly edible produce that may otherwise be discarded. This partnership allows them to harvest more of their crop, minimising wasted energy and resources.

Each year, millions of tonnes of produce are wasted due to size and uniformity standards. we are proud to be able to offer our wonky produce to help our growers sell as much of their crop as possible at a more affordable price.

Our apples are packed in a home compostable net that is plastic free.

just awful

Every apple in two bags ordered as part of online shop was badly bruised all over, and the non-bruised bits were mushy. Completely inedible.

Very good byt not always

These apples can be very delicious, firm and juicy, but unfortunately they sometimes require immediate processing into jam or juice. It all depends on what bag of apples we get.

The opinion of an Apploholic

I ordered two bags because I am an apploholic, but like the reviewer who preceded me. I found that neither nets could be said to contain wonky apples; one was full of delicious apples of standard but rosy appearance. The other bag was full of bruised and feeble tasting specimens. not far removed from rotting, so much so that I doubt OCADO humans would have chosen to send them out to us. Perhaps AI was confusing the word 'manky' for 'wonky' or the operative who programmed the robots to pick such apples was foreign and did not understand the word 'Wonky'. I did eventually eat most of the apples in the Manky net, But I did so from oholic desperation. My experience was not pleasurable. The apples in the other net were crisp juicy and sweet. I'll try to give these 'so called wonky apples' a miss until later in the year. They are usually excellent value as organic apples. I never juice them. Later I'll read the rest of the reviews to see how this is playing out.

Very disappointing \x27Wholegood\x27!

Disgusted with the rate of inflation on Wholegood's wonky apples! To add hurt to injury, they changed the product name from juicing apples to wonky apples. Actually, they're not wonky, but they are more heavily bruised and some with broken skin; as they were as juicing apples, acceptable for juicing, not for serving as a wonky desert apple. Ocado, bring back Wholegood's organic juicing apples, please!!!

great value

best value organic apples I've found. one bag was quite bruised but they're mostly great. maybe that's why they're described as being for baking and juicing, but we eat them as they are.

damaged and bland

I was disappointed to receive these apples with dents, cuts and bruises in every single one. They tasted just ok, quite floury and bland so I cant recommend
