At Wholegood, we focus on the very finest seasonal produce, sourcing from the UK wherever possible. Our first priority however is to always be associated with 'best in class' produce. Fortunately we're also well connected with the most forward-thinking growers and farming communities in Italy, France and Spain. Incidently we never air-freight because we believe we have a responsibility to the wider environment. Some suggest that the antioxidants and phytochemicals in carrots can help with blood sugar regulation which can assist one's immune function.
You might be wondering who we are:
We are organic wholesalers in London sourcing some of the finest produce in the land for restaurants, retailers and schools. We are delighted to now be including homes in to the mix by working exclusively with Ocado to deliver out fruit, vegetables and salads. We have always loved the idea of delivering to homes but didn't like the "leave it outside your front door in the rain" part of the business but the problem is solved with Ocado's super-duper one-hour delivery slots.

Preparation and Usage
SALADS: Dice, julienne, shave or thinly slice, before tossing with other ingredients. Carrots collaborate especially well with other sweet root vegetables, tomatoes, peas, lemon, cumin, ground coriander, fresh coriander, mint, and parsley.
SOUP: Carrots become sweeter when cooked and are great when blended or pureed into velvety soups with spices and coconut milk, yoghurt or cream. It goes without saying that purple carrots will dye your soup purple, so watch out for that!
BAKING: Besides the classic carrot cake, you can add grated carrots to most fruit/vegetable cake recipes for extra moist results. Carrot puree can also be added to pancake batter for added sweetness and tenderness.
ROAST: Cut the carrots into medium chunks, or slice lengthwise into halves. Toss to coat in oil, salt, spices and/or herbs, then spread out on a tray and bake at 200C for 30 min until tender and caramelised. Roasted carrots can be flung into salads with cooked grains, fresh greens, herbs and juicy fruits like oranges and tomatoes.
They are also stunning when eaten 'au naturel' with a yoghurt dip or as an understated accompaniment to roast meats.

Rainbow Carrots
Absolutely love these. The yellow and purple carrots are really tasty. Will definitely buy again
Very Tough
I wanted to impress guests with a beautiful Sunday lunch and thought these carrots would look the part and guests would be taken back by these beautiful looking carrots, sadly not they were tough, tasteless and didnt sadly add the wow factor I wanted to the table. I wont be buying them again but glad I tried them.
Fresh and very high quality
I received 1 bright orange, 2 yellow and 2 purple carrots. All were large and very fresh. So far I have roasted an orange and a yellow one with small amounts of olive oil and salt. The flavour was excellent.
spiced up a boring meal!
Nice to add a variety of colour to the plate.
delicious
Love these carrots. Sweet tasting and delicious.
cheated
Feel cheated with these. So much more expensive than regular carrots yet what I received was mostly huge thick orange carrots with one purple and one white thrown in for good measure. Avoid!
