Vinification Details
A warm, dry start to the season brought on rapid, early flowering. After a much-needed rain in January, summer progressed with warm days and relatively cool nights, perfect for ripening. A burst of heat in late January brought on an early, condensed harvest with wines full of flavour and with good natural balance.

Remarkably smooth for the money
This is a very drinkable and pleasant cab for the price.

Harsh
Probably not the right word but it just isn’t pleasant and there are much better reds in this price range. The dark horse range for a start.

The good stuff
Back in the 90s when we started earning decent cash, this was the go-to posh wine for me and the missus and we're pleased to say it's just as nice today. Remarkably it's still around 8 quid or less which is what we paid then. A miracle.

pretty good
its kind of a benchmark this Cab, all other Cabs we drink in our house are either not as good as Wolf or better then Wolf It is where good cab starts and band wine ends!
