Great idea
This is nice light coconut with chunky lime jam not flavours ive had before in a porridge but really enjoyed it for a change, however the little jam pot is difficult to open without a knife so a bit problematic for a workplace that has no cutlery. Im not sure the cardboard compartment for the jam is necessary so one star removed for packaging issues.
Lovely porridge, horrible marmalade
The porridge is really nice but the lime marmalade wasnt at all. It had fairly big lumps of peel which was very off putting. Id buy Wolfys porridge again but not this one.
Tasty but waaaay too much sugar!
42g of sugar per pot to just too much! I wont be buying this again.
Delicious but not good for my diet
This porridge is really good. I take it to work every day (Wolfys generally not just this one). Its really easy to make, uses good oats, tastes great and the marmalade pot is so much better than the flavourings used by other brands. However, as much as it doesnt taste too sweet, there is an awful lot of sugar in this one. My only other criticism is that a pot of marmalade cannot be a surprise if you write that there is a surprise pot of marmalade on the tub.
So much sugar
Ordered this when it was on offer just to try - didn't realise for some reason that the lime was a separate pot of marmalade and also failed to notice the nutritional information. In hindsight I shouldn't have automatically added the marmalade when it was made up, but I did. After a few mouthfuls I looked at the nutrition- over 450 calories per pot and 45g of sugar?! That's well over a third and far more than the standard "bad sugar" measurement of a can of cola at 33g. There is absolutely no reason for porridge to contain so much sugar, even a golden syrup pot contains less than 20g. A shame as this could have been such a nice enjoyable combination, but cannot leave a good review for something that is well over the recommended daily allowance of sugar in one simple breakfast, and double the regular amount of calories. Far better to have a full fry-up!
Lovely coconut porridge
My son really enjoyed the flavour of the porridge; easy to make and good texture. I wouldn't let him put the lime marmalade on it though.... It's has far too high a sugar content.... kind of goes against the point of eating the porridge in the first place.
