Nothing special
Based on the rave reviews I thought this would be something special but it’s really not! The spices are so subtle as to be non existent- a lingering scent rather than a taste. Even when encouraged with sugar and fat milk. I’ve tried boiling in a pan with just milk. In a tea pot with off the boil water as per the instructions and in a tea pig. It still just tastes like the bulk-buy, wall dispenser typhoo tea my nana and grandad used in the 90s. A lovely trip down memory lane for me, but I recommend you save your pennies! Particularly if you’re used to proper Indian chai.
I love this
lovely chai, very gently spiced with a discernible little hit of pepper. This is my little treat sometimes!
lovely tea
Really lovely tea, would recommend!
Tea for one
Lovely cup of tea. I have it without milk and add some honey. At this price I won’t be sharing.
warming chai
A nice spicy tea although I found it a little bitter without milk and I prefer my chai black
Lovely spicy tea
I was offered this tea for review by Ocado. I made it as I would normally make my tea which is putting the tea in a strainer that goes into a cup or mug, adding boiling water, letting it brew and adding milk. It is delicious, spicy and warming. Expensive though.
