150 years of family farming
Still farming as a family
Our family has been making Cheddar in Somerset since the mid 1800s, and we still use our Grandmother Ivy Clothier's very own recipe. Today, we are the best-selling Farmhouse Cheddar producer in the UK. We steadfastly maintain her standards by producing and selecting only the finest flavours, which is why we continue to win more prizes than any other cheesemaker. We hope you enjoy it!

Not strong enough
Nice enough but vintage this is not. If you love the strongest of cheddars this will just taste like an average mature cheddar to you with also no crunch / too wet & no salt crystals. Wyke farms should rename this to mature & work on bringing an actual vintage cheddar.
my fav cheddar
Just love it! The BEST cheese for a nice cheese toast, so yummy and melts so well. Just love it!
crumbly
Its too crumbly with patchy white Will definitely not recommend this cheese
great cheese
This is a lovely cheese. Tasty and a good flavour.
Sweet and nutty
Not a bad Chedder, sweet and nutty in flavour. Perhaps not as deep in flavour and the label Vintage might suggest. It's quite crumbly but all in all a fairly decent cheese
Not a lot of Punch
It's a decent vintage cheese for the low price point, but lots of other competition gives a greater punch and depth of flavour.
