Used to be very good...
Haven't bought this in a while but oh dear, you can see where the costs have been cut, half the ingredients, double the water. Won't buy again.
Satisfying
Maybe I got lucky, but the soup I had was really thick and chunky, with a lovely flavour. Would definitely buy again.
Watery!
I usually buy the M&S fresh soups but these were on offer so I took a gamble - I love butternut squash and this sounded delicious, but I was a bit disappointed. It was very watery, I found probably only 3 bits of chicken and the rest was lentils or coriander. The taste was nice, slightly spiced, but it would have been a lot better if it was a thick soup with more chicken. A shame.
Nice tasting soup but watery
Lovely tasting soup but felt it was a little bit on the watery side compared to their roast chicken one which we love. Also there was hardly any chicken in this one despite it being on the label!
recipe change
In previous years I have bought countless pots of this soup , providing a hearty meal and Leaving me full , so as the weather changed into my basket it went . What has happened to it ? The thick deliciousness packed with ingredients and pieces of chicken have become a watery lentil drink ! with no discernible sight of chicken at all , whilst I might have had a rogue pot and will give it one more go , is this another victim of the current shrink economy with a reduced volume as well ! I dont think the current offering would gain it a taste award
Delicious
I usually find soups a bit tasteless and in need of me adding stuff for flavour - not this one. It's absolutely delicious!
