Mushy bits
Have just had a bag of this scampi it's 'formed' scampi & was mushy. No actual pieces of scampi. Will try their Gastro ones next time....hoping they're better. Waitrose ok, but they are very very small. Wish Ocado would find a supplier of real scampi tails.....
bleugh
Awful.... the taste is terrible. Scampi is not supposed to taste like that! My daughter took a bite and spat out... I ate 2 in the hope they would get better, alas I now need to convince my daughter to try Scampi again!

The best scampi provided....
that it's cooked right. definitely needs a well preheated oven and 10 degrees less than stated, but also 10 minutes longer cooking time. the result will be perfect every time if you do this. too high a temperature dries the scampi out, too short a cooking time result in the slimy texture some reviews mentioned.
Nicest around
This is the only scampi around that doesn't go soggy and i think the people that have complained have just not cooked properly! I find they take a little longer in the oven than the packet says, but anyone who has this regularly, would know when it looks cooked.
