A punch is a party classic. And come winter, warming tipples are a must! Served hot to beat the chill, mixologist Kate Hawkings’ Spiced Marmalade Rum Punch covers all bases, and uses her wonderfully fragrant Spiced Marmalade Syrup to really infuse the drink with festive cheer. If you have any punch left over, keep covered in the fridge and enjoy, reheated, within 48 hours.

  • 300ml dark rum
  • 150ml cloudy apple juice
  • 500ml dry cider
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 orange or lemon slices, to garnish


Step 1

Heat the liquid ingredients and 150ml of the Spiced Marmalade Syrup (see above) in a pan until hot but not boiling.

Step 2

Pour into heatproof glasses. Garnish with orange or lemon slices.
