Strong and smooth, this is a cocktail with a kick and originates from Lonondon in the early eighties. Combining vodka, cooled fresh espresso and coffee liqueur into a cocktail shaker to create a foamy top. If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use a clean jar with a screw-top lid instead. Make this easy cocktail recipe at your next festive dinner party with friends and family. Ingredients

  • 100 ml of vodka
  • 60 ml of fresh espresso, cooled
  • 50 ml of coffee liqueur (we used kahlúa)
  • 1 handful of coffee beans, to garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Pour all the liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker and top up with ice.

  • Step 2

    Shake for about 10 secs, then strain into 2 coupe glasses.

  • Step 3

    Garnish each cocktail with 3 coffee beans.
