  • 4 Picard Croissants with Charentes Butter
  • 200g Picard Organic Wild Blueberries
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 120g cream cheese
  • 1 lime, juiced and zested

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4.

Step 2

Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake on the middle rack of the oven for 18 mins until golden and crisp.

Step 3

Meanwhile, add the blueberries to a pan over medium heat and cook for two mins, then add 2 tbsp of the sugar. Continue cooking for 5 mins until the berry mixture becomes thick and jammy, then set aside.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, remaining sugar and the lime zest and juice until well-combined.

Step 5

Once the croissants are baked, cut each one nearly in half, leaving the top attached on one side, and spread each bottom half with some cream cheese. Add a generous spoonful of blueberries and fold the top half of each croissant over. Serve immediately.
