Ingredients
- 50g pecan nuts
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 4 slices white bread
- 150g salad leaves
- 4 pears, cored and sliced
- 125g blue cheese
Method
Step 1
Toast the pecans in a dry pan for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Step 2
Whisk together the oil, vinegar and mustard, and season to taste.
Step 3
Toast or grill the bread, then place a slice in each plate. Pile with the salad leaves and pear, then drizzle over the dressing. Finally, crumble on the cheese and top with the nuts.
