Roast Chicken and Charlotte Potatoes with Buttery Green Vegetables

This bird-in-a-bag comes ready-rubbed all over with red pepper and garlic seasoning.

  • 1 x Ocado Extra Tasty Chicken in a Bag
  • 375g Charlotte potatoes
  • 2 packs mixed trio of veg
  • 10g butter


Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. Place the chicken in its bag in a large roasting tin and cook for 1 hr.

Step 2

Remove from the oven and carefully open the bag. Lift the chicken out and place it directly into the roasting tin, discarding the packaging. Add the potatoes to the tin and return to the oven for 30 mins, turning the potatoes halfway.

Step 3

Remove the chicken and potatoes from the oven and rest for 10 mins before you carve.

Step 4

While the chicken is resting, steam the veg for 6 mins, or until tender.

Step 5

Transfer the veg to a serving dish, season and add a knob of butter.

Step 6

Serve the chicken with the potatoes and veg.
