Ingredients

  • 250g camembert
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 4 tsp extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
  • 4 slices ciabatta

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6.

Step 2

Remove the plastic wrapper from a 250g wheel of camembert and pop it back in the box with the lid off.

Step 3

Use a knife to pierce the top of the cheese all over and insert pieces of peeled, sliced garlic and sprigs of fresh rosemary into the holes.

Step 4

Brush with olive oil and place on a baking tray in the oven for 10 mins, or until oozy in the middle.

Step 5

Meanwhile, slice a ciabatta loaf into rounds, drizzle one side with olive oil and place cut-side down in a hot griddle or frying pan until toasted.

Step 6

Rub the toasted side of the bread with a garlic clove cut in half and dunk into the gooey cheese.
