Salted dark chocolate and Parmesan black pepper popcorn

  • 80g popcorn
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 50g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 25g parmesan, grated


Step 1

Melt 1tbsp butter in a large pan (with a tight-fitting lid) over a medium heat.

Step 2

Add 80g popcorn kernels to the pan and cover. Cook, shaking the pan occasionally, until all the corn has popped.

Step 3

Take off heat and split into two bowls.

Step 4

For the salted dark chocolate, stir 50g melted dark chocolate into one bowl of popcorn, adding a touch of fine sea salt to finish.

Step 5

For the parmesan and black pepper, fold in ½tsp freshly ground black pepper and 25g grated Parmesan.
