Tuna and White Bean Salad

Throw together a quick and healthy lunch in just 5 minutes! This fibre-rich tuna salad can be easily assembled on your break or just before work. If you don't have white beans, swap in butter beans or cannellini for a similar result. Add a hard-boiled egg for extra protein.

  • ½ tin tuna
  • 200g white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp red onion, sliced (we used Cook With M&S Sliced Red Onion)
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 1 drizzle herb dressing (we used Tracklements Italian Herb Dressing)


Step 1

Place half a tin of tuna in a bowl and flake with a fork.

Step 2

Add the white beans, chopped onions, cherry tomatoes and capers.

Step 3

Season and drizzle with herb dressing, stir and taste, adding more dressing if needed. Serve as it is or with salad leaves, toast, or your choice of grain pouch.

Tips or serving suggestions

If you have time before work, hard boil an egg for 6-7 mins, plunge into cold water and bring with you to peel and slice in half and place on top of the salad.
