Balsamic Roasted Grapes with Camembert

Take the usual cheeseboard up a notch with this easy recipe, featuring the rich, jammy flavours of roasted grapes made savoury with cheese and herbs and tangy with balsamic vinegar. Instructions

    Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas 7. In a roasting tray, combine the grapes, oregano, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Lightly toss to coat.

    Pop in the oven for 8 mins, or until the grapes start to split.

    Turn the bunches over and place the cheese among the grapes, torn into chunks. Drizzle with a little more oil and vinegar and return to the oven for 5 mins, until the cheese starts to melt.

    Place the tray on the table to serve and let everyone dig in with fresh crusty bread.

  • 1 kg black or red grapes, in bunches
  • 4 sprigs oregano
  • 1 drizzle balsamic vinegar
  • 250g camembert (or brie)
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil
