Easy-Squeezy Garlic Bread

Try this crowd-pleasing easy roasted garlic bread recipe. Lift your dish with the punchy flavour of garlic packed into a crusty bake-at-home baguette, smothered in salty butter and peppery chopped parsley. Roasting the garlic gives it a slightly milder flavour with a subtle hint of sweetness from caramelisation in the oven. Everyone loves garlic bread so give this a go for your next dinner party with friends. Enjoy.


Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas 7. Place the bulb on foil and drizzle with oil, salt and pepper. Pop the garlic onto a baking tray and bake for 30 mins, or until soft.

    Squeeze the roasted garlic into a bowl with the butter and parsley, then mix.

    Make slices in your baguette, ¾ of the way through, then spread your garlic butter into each slice.

    Pop back into the oven and bake for a further 10-12 mins until golden.

  • 40g salted butter, softened
  • 5g fresh parsley, finely chopped
