Stress-free steak night is guaranteed with our Air Fryer Steak recipe. Simply season the steak and preheat the air fryer for perfectly cooked medium-rare steak everytime. Ingredients

  • 2 (230g) ribeye steaks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved
  • 2 rosemary sprigs

Method

Step 1

Take the steak out of the fridge 1 hr before you’re ready to cook.

Step 2

Rub the steaks with oil and the halved garlic.

Step 3

Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper then set aside for 15 mins to lightly marinade.

Step 4

Set the air fryer to 200°C for 2 mins before setting the steaks on the hot basket base (see Tip). Cook for 4 mins then turn over and cook for a further 2 mins for medium rare.

Step 5

Remove the steaks from the basket and set aside to rest for 5 mins.

Step 6

Slice to serve with new potatoes, creamed spinach and a peppercorn sauce, if you like.

​​Time to bring steak to temperature: 1hr Marinating time: 15 mins Resting time: 5 mins Cooking time will vary depending on the capacity of your air fryer. We used an 11L Tefal Easy Fry Air Fryer Oven. Cook the steaks on a griddle tray if it has one.
