Dreadful smell
Consistency of the balm is nice but the smell is similar to the candles you put out to deter mosquitoes and its a very strong smell as well, not just a hint. Not enjoying this product at all.
Perfect!
Previously I was using a rose balm from another well known brand, however I am absolutely converted to this now. Lovely when massaged into the skin and then removed with a muslin cloth. I double cleanse with this and it removes every trace of makeup. Just perfect!
My Current Fave
This is my current favourite cleansing balm. Lovely fragrance and really does the job. I use a hot flannel to remove and leaves skin lovely and clean
good cleanser but odd
The cleanser itself works very well. Removes tough mascara but the apricot powder can irritate gentle eye area. The first few uses werent exfoliating at all and now Im more into the pot its more scrub like as if the mixture settled before hardening. The smell is like citronella candles, not like apricot or oat as I was expecting which isnt all that pleasant. Ill not be buying again which is a shame as I really wanted to like this
Nice product
Lovely product with a great scent. The only thing I'd say is that it's quite thick and I normally use face wash after to make sure it's rinsed off my face.
use a cloth
This is a good substitution for my usual cleansing balm that is out of stock currently. Its very moisturising but has a tiny amount of exfoliation feel from the fined apricot powder it uses. It melts into the skin but you do need to use warm/hot water and a cloth to effectively remove I find. I always do this with a balm so no difference for me. I have dry acne prone skin and have found this to be very moisturising and calming when I have an outbreak (much reduced lately). Star off as pricier than my usual which I feel performs the same but for double the amount and same price
