Wonderful whisky
If you do not like peated whisky, this is the one for you. Highly enjoyable and the flavour is superb
Beautiful dram
Absolutely delightful whisky that is full of flavour, smooth, indulgent without sharpness to it. Very easy on the pallet, yet with character and rounded mouthfeel. I’m a fan of Aberlour, nice packaging and simple yet sophisticated bottle too.
Explosion of flavours
My current fave is the Aberlour Casg Annamh, so I thought I'd better give this one a go too. This has the same explosion of flavours and is very well balanced and rounded. It does lack the zesty spark which makes the Casg edition my absolute favourite, but this is obviously a question of personal taste. It is a somewhat rounder and fuller flavour. More of a winter warmer IMO, but a sensational whisky in every way. Also, the bottle and box are very appealing and makes this an excellent present.
An excellent smooth malt
Although I am not an expert on single malts I dod find this to be extremely smooth with no aftertaste. Very warming and a first class sipping whisky
smooth with a hint of toffee
I am a big fan of Speyside whiskies and this one didn't disappoint. I enjoyed mine neat, although it was also easy to drink over an ice cube. Will certainly buy in preference to the twelve year in the future.
Surprisingly Good
Very smooth and easy to drink
