Over\-sweet and under\-flavoured
I was really hoping that this would be a wonderfully rich salty-sweet BBW glaze. It certainly looks the part, but unfortunately its just far, far too sweet and doesn't taste of anything much more than sugar. I don't understand how the primary ingredient listed is soy sauce but yet it just tastes of sugar and nothing else - there's no saltiness or umamu flavour to speak of. Needs about half the amount of sugar and a real boost to the actual flavour.
