nice but expensive
The powder smells really fruity and is great sprinkled onto things. If adding to porridge, quite a large amount is needed to give a blackcurrant flavour and a rich purple colour (one teaspoon doesnt taste of much and just turns the porridge a pinky-grey colour) I liked this, but at £9.20 for 70g it is probably too expensive for me to buy again.
Very tasty!
I tried all the tastes and all are great! As this is fully natural it tends sometimes to form bigger chunks so good mortar is recommended to get all the benefits!
who are they kidding?
Its absolutely tasteless ! As it is very expensive - I found it extremely disappointing and a total waste of money. In an effort to test it fairly - I tried it with plain yoghurt, porridge and with Almond milk - where I was left with a gritty sediment at the bottom of my drink (assume its the seeds). I cant agree that its bursting with blackcurrant flavour (as they say) when - other than a slightly sour taste - its tasteless. I cant imagine what one could possibly use it for other than to turn turn food purple!
my little treat
Im planning on using this when I want a sweet fix. A lovely complex flavour. Maybe make a fruity dib dab type of thing!
This is a great food supplement
OK, if Im at home I eat real fruit. However, I travel a lot and I hate those artificial fruit yoghurts that are full of manufactured sugar. This is great and tasty way of supplementing natural yoghurt with real fruit. I dont understand the reviews that call this tasteless. Add this to a real Greek or natural yoghurt and its a taste explosion. I tend to add two different powders at the same time. This one and the lingonberry work well together.
Tasty
Really enjoyed this. Great in porridge.
