Not mild
This wasnt mild which was disappointing, I wouldnt have bought it if Id known how spicy it was.
Icky afertaste
Can't quite put my finger on it but left with a burnt ghee and garlic aftertaste that was very unpleasant.
a bit too watery
This was not too spicy but the consistency was far too runny.
Mega spicy!!!
I ordered Daal as I don’t like spicy food - I can take a bit of a kick - but this has literally burnt my mouth - the recipe has to be reviewed
Well-balanced
I got this on offer. It's very well-flavoured, and the consistency is good. Some people commented It's too thin, but dhal is supposed to be like that, with the lentils cooked down (unless it's black dhal). The spicing was just right.
mixed consistency
Ive bought this twice, first time was a lovely dhal, tasty and filling. The second (and last) purchase was basically flavoured water. Both cooked exactly the same way, couldnt believe it was the same product. So some quality control issues maybe?
