History
Attems is a name that encompasses the history of wine in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Owned by the Frescobaldi family since the year 2000, Attems denotes a fascinating past, an accomplished present and a future filled with innovation. Since the year 2000 Attems is property of the Frescobaldi family who continue to pursue its tradition with great respect of its distinctive characteristics.

The vineyards are located among the plains and hills of the province of Gorizia an average altitude of 60 meters.

Vinification Details
following the de-stemming, the peels and must were left in contact for about 8 hours at 8°C. Subsequently, the rosé must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes is left to rest for 24-48 hours. Finally, on clear must, the low temperature (15-17°C) alcoholic fermentation is allowed to take place in steel vats for 15 days. Following the fermentation, the wine rests for four months on noble lees often kept in suspension

Excellent

This is a very high quality wine. I first tried it in a wine bar in Rome and noticed it was particularly good. I am happy that Ocado is selling it in the UK. A good choice for a special occasion.

We bought this on what was meant to be a special deal - only to discover that the so-called reduced price was higher than the normal price of the product readily available elsewhere on the internet. This is a shameful practice and is not treating customers either fairly or with honesty. Worse still, when we pointed this out they said "tough" no returns so go away. How could it possibly taste good when associated with such poor customer treatment

Lovely!

I bought this wine on the strength of the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Lovely and fresh and a cut above the roses I usually buy at the £8-£10 price bracket. Definitely worth the extra money.
