No longer gluten free?
These used to be gluten free now they just say vegan. Celiac son reacted to the new packet.
chemical fries
Chips with Rice, Dextrin, Raising Agents, Sodium Carbonate, Di-Sodium Pyrophosphate, Corn Dextrose, Spice Extracts... none of this belong on a potato chip! It escapes me why all all the nasty ingredients... it's frozen so the preservation is there. There are a few brands that just use potato and corn oil, they're just fine.
But McCain
Dry and uncooked. Get McCain jnstead. Hard to believe 2 brands are so far apart.
Awful
Decided to try them for myself despite the bad reviews (mostly because all other options were out of stock) Big mistake! wish I'd paid attention to the reviews, they're horrible. Weird texture, really bland & hard to tell when cooked as they don't change colour. Some were overcooked & others were under even though they were all on the same tray (in a single layer) DO NOT RECOMMEND
Like cardboard
Received these as a substitute. Really very poor
Tasted like cardboard
These chips were disgusting, they taste almost like cardboard.
