I had heard good things about Balcones and boy they didn't disappoint. This is one of the best bourbons I've ever had. The taste is bold and the proof is just right. Do try it if you have the chance.
This is worth every penny. Honestly one of the best whiskeys that have come out of the states. The single malt lends sitself to pure joy when drunk neat. It really is more like a armagnac with lots of fruity notes and accents of dried fruit and chocolate. This is for showing off to friends with good taste. Well done Texas.
