Bay's Kitchen Spicy Tomato Salsa 200g

Pleasantly fresh but a little bland and not spicy

I think for the price (3.95 for a very small jar) I was expecting more from this but honestly its not much above 'Old el Paso' grade that you'd serve with packet tortilla chips in front of the TV. The ingredient list is largely good but it also inexplicably includes cornflour which gives it a slightly gloopy texture compared to fresh salsa. The inclusion of lime juice and coriander are wonderful and freshen it up, but it just lacks much flavour and punch beyond that - there is little rich tomato flavour and no detectable heat or spice from the chillis. Not terrible but not worth the high price in my opinion either, Ocado has better salsas than this for less money.
