Red Red Wine
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I happily sampled a glass of this which I enjoyed so I had another one goes well with pasta.
Disappointing for the price
I am reviewing this wine because I received a free sample from Ocado. First impression was a pleasant aroma and a fruity and spicy flavour but swiftly followed by a harsh aftertaste and lack of subtlety. Definitely not for drinking on its own and not much better with food. Feel that there are much nicer wines at a lower price level. Presume the price reflects its organic origin but in my opinion it’s not worth it.
Nice red wine
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I’m not a big red wine drinker but happily sampled a glass of this which I enjoyed and used the rest to add depth to a beef stew which was delicious. Quite a pricey bottle which would put me off purchasing again but liked the fact was organic.
Disappointing
I am reviewing this wine as I got a free sample from Ocado. I had high expectations of this wine given the fact it was a reserved organic wine. The taste was not what I expected and I suspect you will either love it or hate it for me it was the later. The wine itself was smooth but was lacking in flavour with no depth. In the end I used it for cooking. Definitely not worth the money far better wines for this price point.
Expected more
I was sent this wine by Ocado to review. Being organic and at its price point I expected so much more. The colour promised much but the taste didn’t. Some red wines you want to savour before swallowing, this wasn’t one of them. I had 2 glasses and that was enough. I thought about chilling it or adding ice but I don’t think it would improve the experience that much. I’m loathe to waste most things and so will keep it to add to a sauce. Not for me I’m afraid
red wine
Was given this as a free sample to review by Ocado. Thought at the usual price of £15 and being organic it would be nice but it was very disappointing. Quite bitter tasting, not easy drinking at all, used the last of it to cook with. Would not buy it even if it was on offer and it would have to be really nice if I was going to spend £15 on a bottle of wine. I suppose the price tag is due to it being organic but it isn't worth it when there are much nicer cheaper wines.
