Berringa Honey is entirely natural. It is unadulterated honey from nature and as such it will react to temperature and storage variations. Crystallisation in Berringa Honey is not uncommon and it can easily be remedied by heating the honey (and the jar it is in) slowly in a bowl of hot water – or leaving it in a hot room/place. Do not microwave it though as that will simply see it re-crystallise quickly after.
Crystallisation is natural, safe and not a sign of mould spores or anything else untoward.

not great
Practically the whole jar had crystallised before I had used it. I know that sometimes honey does crystallise, but wasnt expecting the whole jar to be grainy. Not like others Ive bought. Disappointing.
Aussie Manuka?
no reviews yet available when bought this on offer. Like very medicinal treacle, totally unlike any other tasted. As I and a friend, regular users of NZ Manuka Doctor, both disliked this intensely, was amazed to now find only such favourable comments . Did not think I could even give it away but might keep for healing wounds.
Excellent honey!
The Manuka Honey is amazing!! I started using it with hot milk and as a topping with ricotta. I used to buy mild honey so the taste is a bit strong for me but I would definitely recommend.
Lovely Honey
This really is a lovely honey, Expensive, unfortunately, but a great flavour and delicious on toast. 5 stars if it was cheaper.
Great quality honey
Very smooth and thick manuka honey, full of flavour. Great on toast, in yoghurt or straight out of the jar. One star less because it's expensive.
Great but expensive
Thick and smooth, with the consistency of malt extract. Full flavour, reminiscent of caramel. Great on bread, but wonderful straight from the jar! Shame about the price.
