Not Impressed
Not a pleasant taste, don’t expect a tart like a custard tart where filling is to the top of the pastry casing, it is soaked into the pastry at the bottom. Basically lemon flavoured pastry case !
Absolana
These tarts are wonderful, really lemony, pastry that melts in the mouth and very moreish.
surprisignly good
Despite some of the negative reviews and the scary ingredients these are delicious! Filling is soaked into pastry rather than a big jelly like filling. Very good balance of sweetness and sourness and great texture.
very disappointing
The pastry is good, however there is hardly any (if at all) lemon flavour, it's just pale yellow sticky sweetness. Especially for the price, disappointed
Quite sweet, pastry is nice.
These haven't travelled well as most of the filling is in the packaging instead of the tart. Pastry is nice but lemon flavour is on the fake tasting side so very sweet with a more subtle lemony taste. Can imagine these would work well as a buildable base with added berries and cream. So would buy again with that in mind but not really something I would eat on its own.
