Good for 10l bins
We have a 10l bin, so we went for a slightly bigger 12l so it does not hang and lines all the bin surface avoiding slipping and breakage. And it works!
does the job
I had absolutely no problem with these - didnt split, separated easily, held a heavy load. I dont leave my waste to sit in the bag - I collect it in a bowl and then put it in the bag when I have enough. Works very well.
Split easily
only any good if you only use them for a couple of days. however if you don't have a huge amount of food waste then you still have to empty the bin every 2 or 3 days otherwise they start to disintegrate. other brands have much better staying power
Good for small food waste
These bags are good for the small waste bins. They arent as strong but that is suppose to be the case as theyre biodegradable. Worked for us anyway.
Not wet-proof enough.
Previous versions were ok but recently these have begun to give way when containing wet stuff like used tea-bags. As we are now allowed to use old shopping bags this seems a better idea.
Rotted in less than a week!
Which, I suppose, does at least go to prove they’re truly biodegradable…. 🙄 But at this price, I only expect to have to use one a week, not to have to double-bag in order to put the food out for the dustbin men, then have to clean out my food waste caddy because the bag has already rotted and the food is falling out. A very expensive waste of money, On a positive note, they ARE a reasonable size for my 10litre caddy. Which is the only good thing they have going for them!
