Soggy
I was expecting a firm texture like pulled pork, however it was soggy and more like fried aubergine. I was in quite large tasteless lumps, smothered in very strong barbecue sauce.
Such a small amount
It’s my own laziness that I didn’t just marinate a tin of jackfruit, this product is such a rip off
Not a burger.
The packaging may make you think that you are buying vegan burgers. In fact, the product is a bag of soggy, wet mush that is too wet to ever be made into burgers and tastes like soft, wet, overly sweetened rubber. Avoid this product.
Meaty Texture
I was sent this product to review and passed it on to my daughter who is Vegan. She liked it very much and stated that it had a meaty texture and a pleasant smoky taste as from a barbeque. She will be buying it in the future.
No
Tried to like it but it has a texture that was neither one thing nor the other and a fake smoked taste.
Good alternative to pulled pork
Perfect for an alternative to pulled pork. I had it in tacos and it worked well
