Not for me
Sadly, too thin and flavourless for my taste, and also too expensive.
I have miso quite regularly and i usually buy fairly cheap packets that you add boiling water to. This was ok i could smell the apple but not really taste it otherwise the flavour was quite palatable but it made like one mug of soup and quite frankly, no. I got this half price and i STILL feel like it was expensive. I just can't see how they use ingredients or methods that justifies this price point sorry.
interesting- but not for me!
Interesting in terms of flavour but a bit too thin for my taste. Would prefer a normal soup any day!
not my thing at all
Sorry. Just not my thing. Tasteless.
Too much ££ for too little taste
I make my own ramen bowls at work for lunch and used this as the broth. I ended up having to add a load of sriracha as there just wasnt enough taste for me. Clearly that may be a personal thing, but at this price I wont be buying again.
I was wary of this, because of the bad reviews, but the ingredients sounded so sensibly chosen for a miso, and it was gorgeous. Perhaps batches vary, as they often do with properly artisan food, because mine was full of delicate flavour. A lovely umami hit, well rounded, and tasted really refreshing and rich. It's hideously expensive, sadly, but it's not as though that's not clear when you buy. Probably more a flash sale purchase for me, but a very happy one when it flashes up!
