They arrived battered & bruised, the petals were brown & the roses were wilting. This is my 6th bunch of flowers from Ocado & I honestly dont know why I bother as they are always poor quality! Shame
Rather low quality
Received 8 roses, 5 of them wilted and became yellow before opening properly. The remaining 3 roses that were ok wilted rather quickly as well. White roses from the previous Ocado supplier were bigger, more beautiful, blossomed fully and stayed ok for a long time. Would prefer to go back to the old Ocado supplier
3 out of 8 were broken near the head
Even on offer, I was extremely disappointed with these flowers. They're really small with very thin stems and nearly half of them were snapped /badly bent
Extremely Poor Condition
I took advantage of the offer and ordered 4 bunches of roses across the 3 beautiful colours; sadly only one didn't prompt an immediate refund request, and even that turned out to be a mistake! I had hoped with some TLC they might perk up and surprise me, but they were too far gone and didn't have the energy to open. I can't believe they were sent out in such poor condition; limp stems with droopy heads, and badly crushed petals which rapidly turned brown throughout. Being stuffed into a carrier bag didn't help these poor roses either, such a shame.
My weekly treat
I buy my own flowers nearly every week as my lovely hubby is not the flowers type! I've been buying Ocado's short stemmed roses for several years every week (apart from when daffodils and t9ulips are on offer). I've tried all the colours and gave found the white and orange roses last the longest. I must be doing so something right - they usually last a week. I love the special offers as I can have a vase of 16 for £6 or so depending on the offer, making a profusion of blooms, a gorgeous display.
I should have read the reviews before buying
Arrived limp and petals slightly curled. Thought they would pick up but they didn't, instead went brown and discoloured and died!
