- Made using premium borosilicate glass which does not absorb odours or taste, will not discolour, and is lightweight, robust and heat-resistant.
- Intelligent LED traffic-light-display prompts when to replace the filter for optimal filtration results - after 4 weeks or 150L of filtered water.
- Can be opened with one hand for refilling thanks to the convenient flip-lid.
- Dishwasher safe up to 60°C (except BRITA Smart Light and the silicone ring)

Excellent Water Filter Upgrade
Ive had my eye on this glass water filter for a while and when it came on offer I decided to buy it. Im very pleased with it! Ive had various plastic Brita filters for years and I was never that keen on my tap water sitting in a plastic container after it had been filtered The filter was easy to set up and Im very impressed with the quality of the filter. We have a water softener installed which obviously helps but my first cup of tea was crystal clear! The water tastes like natural mineral water and Im fussy when it comes to my water! The jug is easy to fill with a flip up lid that stays open. The actual lid is a little tricky to remove due to the seal. Im intrigued to see when the filter indicates that its time to change the filter. We are a house of two and will use far less than a large family My only criticism is that I would like the choice of having a filter that isnt round and fits in the fridge door
Overpriced but decent
I'm receiving this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. It's very pricey for what it is at the RRP and my partner finds it awkward to take apart, but we're in a very hard water area and you certainly notice the difference in the taste. I can't say it makes the flavour wonderful because I don't love plain water anyway, but an improvement? I'd say so.
Missing filter with new brita glass jug
Received my new glass brita filter jug I unfortunately didn't get mine free to review but the filter with the new jug was missing. But luckily I had also purchased extra filters with I will be using tomorrow have contacted ocado re missing filter awaiting reply
Nicer than the old one
I was sent this by Ocado for a review. Nice design compared to the previous one. I was relying on my fridge's filter but realised water tastes better when filtered with Brita
Not as good as the old one
This might look nice in the kitchen but it doesn’t hold enough in one fill to make a pot of tea. All in all I am pretty disappointed and, unlike your other reviewers, I didn’t get mine free!
Water tastes so much better!
Item sent free from Ocado for review. We live in a very hard water area and the difference in taste and clarity in our tap water when filtered through this is amazing. Its lovely always having much better tasting, chilled water available, but weve also noticed how much nicer tea and coffee tastes using this. The jug itself is simple in design, but a bit on the bulky side and takes up quite a bit of room in a standard size fridge. The neat little indicator light on the lid which shows how much life is left in the filter and when it needs replacing is really handy and there seems to be a decent amount of points to recycle the used filters which is great. Currently using with Maxtra Pro Limescale Expert filters, so hoping to cut down on Limescale in appliances too!
