Bland tonic
Bought as this was on offer, instead of one of my regular brands, and such a mistake. I can barely recognise that it's tonic water. No flavour, slightly sweet if anything - missing the important bitter, juniper element. It's hard to ruin a G&T but I'm afraid this did.
overpowering taste
Im reviewing these as got sent a free sample from Ocado. I had them with gin and found the tonic quite an overpowering taste. Think Ill stick to slimline tonic instead.
With or without gin
I like my Gin and tonic, so was pleased to be offered this for review. I've tried many varieties of tonic, but find the fancier ones are often strongly flavoured and overwhelm the gin. This is just about right: a hint of lemon, a tang of quinine, and not too sweet. For a sophisticated non-alcoholic drink, I recommend a slice of lemon and a dash of Angostura bitters.
