Disappointing
I love cherry peppers with goats cheese, they are one of my favourites. I used to buy the Unearthed version but they have either stopped being stocked by Ocado or have replaced the goats cheese with cream cheese, so I bought these instead. My first taste was of a mushy, overripe pepper and tasteless goats cheese. That went in the bin. Tried another better pepper but there was no flavour from the goats cheese at all, just over-creamy nothingness. I tried about 4 in all but they were just the same. Upon reading other reviews, I may have received a bad batch but at this price, I will not be trying them again to find out.
Tasty
They are very tasty.Very posh packaging.Nice small and delicious
Good with Bruschetta chips
Given these as a sample for review. They make an impressive looking pre-dinner nibble and I tried one on it's own. The peppery flavour was not too hot, but was powerful enough to dominate the goats cheese, which I don't think I could taste. Ate them with Bruschetta chips and the overall effect was much improved.
very tasty
Packaging looked upmarket, tasted good......seem quite expensive.
Excellent taste with a kick
I was sent these for review. I wouldn't normally buy this type of product, especially at the expensive price. We enjoyed them with pizza and salad, liked the not too strong flavour and the 'kick' at the end. Interesting the reviews of others who said they'd added them as pizza toppings and to salads.
Very pretty packaging but pepper skins a let down
Initial thoughts on this product was that it's a high quality item, very nicely packaged with a rustic vibe to it and the peppers look fantastic in the jar. However I was slightly disappointed by the taste of them - the skins on the peppers are a bit too thick and stick around in your mouth after you've finished them giving not a great after taste. The peppers themselves are slightly spicy but not overly hot and are tempered by the goats cheese filling at any rate. The goats cheese is lovely and creamy. Whilst I received this item for free in exchange for reviewin it, if I had to pay for it in future I would be looking at around the £2-2.50 mark which is substantially less than they're currently on offer for (£4.59).
