a great addition to sauces

use this primarily to add to pasta sauces (ragu, arrabbiata etc) and it adds a nice flavour to them. it is a rather large jar though and the recommended use by is 5 days after opening so i freeze it in ice cube trays to use throughout the month.

Really *very* spicy

They're delicious, but more of a paste than chopped - and extremely hot! Definitely not usable just spread on bruschetta as they suggest.

nice floral flavour

it's not easy to get calabrian chilis. these are lovely and pre-chopped for minimal fuss. added a delicate flavour to my seafood risotto!

Chili peppers

I have a Calabrian friend who brings back a jar every year of those peppers. This jar was every bit as authentic and delicious. Highly recommended by a true Calabrian too!!
