Unpleasant odours are caused by germ breaking down your cat's urine into, among other things, ammonia. Conventional litter is only able to partially absorb moisture. The rest collects at the bottom of the litter tray, providing the ideal breeding ground for the microbes which are responsible for odours and unhygienic conditions.
Thanks to the unique JRS-ORGANICFIBRE700-TECHNOLOGY
CAT'S BEST NatureGold functions like a natural odour and germ trap: Moisture and odours are absorbed quickly and long-term by the fibres ultrafine capillary system. This stops odours developing over a long period of time - all without chemical additives!
Thanks to JRS-PFLANZENFASER700 TECHNOLOGY, CAT'S BEST NatureGold is significantly longer-lasting and more economical than many other supposedly cheaper clumping cat litters. More than 700 % liquid uptake gives rise to super-efficient and first-rate absorbent properties. As a result of the compact clumping, used litter is easy to remove and only very little at a time needs to be disposed of. The residual litter can thus be left in the cat's toilet for very much longer - when properly used, for six weeks or more!

Great
This is my fav so far in the search for the best kitty litter.
Great for cats and their staff
Rehoming a large shelter cat that favours an XXL litter tray, I was advised to use wood pellet litter and that they were all pretty much alike. That turned out to mean quickly soggy, smelly and needing to be changed daily to make the mess bearable. This litter seemed very expensive but proved to live up to its claims and is really worth it (though I buy 5 Kg size and don't see why Ocado is charging quite a bit more than double for the 10Kg size). You do have to leave it for a while before scooping as the pellets have a capillary action that needs time to work but then it does clump really well. No noticeable smell, despite being free-from added deodorizers or fragrances. The dry pellets stay firm so the little tracking is pretty dust-free and a bag lasts far longer than I'd expected making it good value.
I mix Sensitive with pallets
To reduce trucking and improve clamping I mix both products magical find your own ratio to your cat liking.. our all family loves it we have cats for over 20 years and this cat litter is the best!!! No smell, clamps and can be flashed in toilet. Tracking is a very very little problem to solve yourselfor let your cats to go out and they will always choose to do their business in the bushes for elderly and house cats would highly recommend this cat litter
Huge price increase
£22 up to £30!? Can buy cheaper elsewhere
Good litter but
Used this litter for years. Excellent product. However Ocado have increased the price from £22 to £30 since March. I wont be purchasing it from here again. Having published my last review to this effect, theyve removed it so I wonder if theyll do the same again?.
Our favourite cat litter by far
Having 6 cats (one senior 20 year old, four kittens 10 and 4 months old and an adult 3 year old) has taken me on a journey of discovery in regard to cat litters. I have pretty much tried all of them and this one reigns supreme. It is made of wood, is clumping when it gets wet, has a pleasant woody aroma, doesn't smell awful once it has been peed and pooped in, lasts for a long time and, although it does trail a bit, doesn't get all over the floor as much as other types of litter. My cats are all comfortable using it. The one thing that plays on my mind is: What makes it clump, unlike other wood based litter? I hope it isn't anything bad for the environment.
